The Montessori Learning Center (MLC) is thrilled to announce their 2nd Annual Drive Up Taste of Spain experience for 2022! MLC’s ambitious expansion effort is well underway and all net proceeds from this event directly benefit our future campus! Enjoy the rich flavors of Spain with Paella prepared live on site! Simply select and purchase your meal below, and pick-up your freshly prepared order to-go at 200 Racetrack Rd NW anytime between 5:30pm – 7:00pm on December 3, 2021. Our teachers will direct traffic in a fast and orderly manner alongside the building in a contactless, drive-through format. As always, the talented chefs from Real Paella will prepare three options to suit all tastes and diet preferences. The Classic and ever popular seafood, chicken/pork, and vegetarian offerings round out the menu at $35/plate or $60 for two. Each plate purchased includes one automatic entry into our “Jingle Drawing” for Cash and Prizes. Additional entry tickets may also be purchased on the website. All prize winners will be announced by name on our school Facebook page live at 5:30pm on December 1st. Winners will receive their prizes packaged alongside their Paella order on December 3rd. The Montessori Learning Center of Fort Walton Beach (MLC) has proudly served the area since 1978. We are a private Montessori-based school, 501(c)(3) non-profit, that accommodates a variety of different learning styles while fostering a lifelong hunger to learn. MLC resolves to provide each preschool and school-aged student with a Montessori-based education that rivals the best Montessori schools in the nation.

Guided by a robust demand in the local area for continued education in the Montessori model and profound support from generous local sponsors, our school began an expansion into lower elementary in 2017 that continues to present day.

As of the 2021-2022 school year, MLC offers grades Pre-K3 through 3rd grade. Our student body and staff has nearly doubled since expansion began four years ago, but our waitlist of prospective students continues to grow.
At our current location, we serve 81 children with incredibly diverse ethnic, cultural, religious and economic backgrounds.

The introduction of several scholarship programs two years ago has been a resounding success with nearly 30% of eligible school aged children benefiting from these programs to attend and thrive at our school.

Building a dedicated, tailor-made campus that would accommodate the Preschool and support our continued expansion through the 6th grade, is now our primary and urgent goal. With continued fundraising efforts, we are slated to open our new 10,000 sq/ft campus in Fall 2023! Become a part of this effort, and help our school serve the children of the FWB community!
